Ewan Gardam Fabrics (affectionately known as Gardams) was established 9 years ago following in the 70 year tradition of the Gardam Family providing the Finest Fashion Fabrics in the world.

Mr. Bert Gardam opened the worlds best fabric store in 1930 to provide designer fabrics to bridal, evening, formal and fashion fabrics to customers around Queensland, across Australia and throughout the world.

We have maintained the same tradition providing exclusive quality fabrics and laces in our central CBD fashion precinct opposite King George Square.

We are happy to send samples and/or photos of fabric requests, and supply by mail order.

We have qualified and experienced designer staff to assist with selection of style, fabrics and colour.

We complement our fabrics with an extensive variety of designer trims, ribbons and buttons.

We also stock Vogue, Butterick, McCalls and Burda patterns plus a comprehensive Range of haberdashery.
